Está confirmada a apresentação da Esquadrilha da Fumaça no 33º Festival Internacional de Balonismo de Torres!
Serão sete aeronaves com apresentação única e gratuita no Parque do Balonismo Odilo Webber Rodrigues, dia 28 de abril às 15h30min com duração de 45 minutos.

Get to know the pilots and their machines, local and international stars that´ll make this festival the biggest of all times.
The festival will offer sports balloons events and unusual shaped balloon presentations, that'll make the party even more fun and colorful. Without forgetting the much awaited Night Glow, where all the pilots gather around and iluminate the night up by the machines blowtorches.
When the evening falls, balloons gather 'round to cheer up the crew in a contagious rhytm of lights, sounds and lots of propane burning ! Nobody will want to miss the chance of taking a closer look of those machines.
For having 30 years of history, Torres is considered the national capital of Balooning and continental reference on the modality.
Pilots from various countries come to join the party and go for the desirable prizes the sport offers.
It's obvious that the most thrilling Festival of all needs to occur in a propitious scenario, and Torres is perfect for that !
Pilots and tourists agree with that and define the city as one of the most perfect scenario for Balooning.
The landscape that mixes rockwalls on the sea, dunes, parks and ecological reserves with Gaúcha highlands and is simply breath taking.
The Ballooning Festival of Torres had its beginning on Febanana 1989, an agricultural event that happened in the city, and in the second edition offered hot air balloons as a way of divulgation.
With so much success, the balloons deserved an event on its own: The 1st Southern Brazil Ballooning Festival. The festival took shape on every new edition and now is the biggest reference of tourist attraction in town - without forgetting the beaches, of course.

Get to know a little better how ballooning tasks work. Once you understand them , you will love the sport even more .
Essas são as provas que podem ser escolhidas pelos pilotos e juízes durante o evento. As provas são definidas pouco antes do início, de acordo com as condições climáticas no dia e horário definidos.
The competitors follow a single balloon ( the hare) and try to drop a marker the closest to the X shaped target launched by the hare, no more than 2 meters into the wind direction relative to the basket after landing. The remaining balloons ( hounds) search for the hare´s landing spot and drop a marker or the target. Points are awarded based on the closest distance to the target distance.
In this task , the key to a 0 km car is fixed a the top of mast 20 t0 30 ft off the ground. All competitors take off from a minimum distance of 3 kilometers from the mast and the main goal is, without touching the ground , grab the car keys using the hands. That´s the most thrilling event, once the pilots fly pretty close to the ground to be able to get the key.
Competitors find their own launch areas and attempt to drop a marker close to a set goal or target. The result is the distance from the mark to the target, if displayed, or goal. Smallest result is best .
Competitors attempt tp drop a marker within scoring area( s) close to a set goal. The result is the distance from the mark to the target, if displayed, or goal. Smallest result is best.
Competitors attempt to drop a marker close to the common launch point, after flying a minimum set time. The result is the distance from the mark to the launch point. Smallest result is best.
Competitors attempt to drop a marker within a valid scoring area close to a set goal. The scoring area(s) will have unique times of validity. The result is the distance from the mark to the target , if displayed, or goal. Smallest result is best
Competitors attempt to drop a marker close to a set goal. The result is the distance from the mark to the target, if displayed, or goal. Smallest result is best .
Competitors attempt to drop a marker close to a goal selected and declared by them during flight. The result is the distance from the mark to the nearest valid declared goal. Smallest result is best. The competitor must write clearly on the previous marker the declared goal for fly on. If the previous marker is not dropped or no goal is written on the marker, the competitor will not achieve a result.

Na noite de domingo, 05 de março, conhecemos a Soberana do 33º Festival Internacional de Balonismo de Torres. A vencedora foi Victória Stefane da Silva Garcia.
A noite iniciou com a recepção e apresentação da banda torrense JB Trio, em seguida 16 candidatas subiram na passarela para desfilar e se apresentar para o público que estava presenta no Guarita Park Hotel. Os cinco jurados que tiveram a dura missão de escolher a Soberana do Balonismo foram, a empresária Adriana Peccin; a presidente do Sindicato de Hotéis do Litoral Norte, Ivone Ferraz; a piloto de balão torrense representando o festival, Laís Pinho; a procuradora geral do município de Torres, Pâmela Souza e o secretário municipal de Turismo de Torres, Sotério Junior.
Os quesitos avaliados foram desenvoltura, beleza, fotografia, simpatia, conhecimentos sobre o evento, sobre Torres e atualidades.
Participaram da noite de escolha da Soberana autoridades locais como o secretário de Cultura e do Esporte, José Mauri Rodrigues; o vice-presidente da Câmara de Vereadores de Torres, vereador Igor Beretta; imprensa, torcidas e comunidade.
Antes do resultado a corte do Balonismo do 31º e 32º festival fez o seu desfile de despedida. A rainha Nayara Helena de Jesus Sila e as princesas Natália Mahaila e Neusa Lopes Flauzino, abrilhantaram a escolha da Soberana com seu desfile de despedida. A corte foi eleita em 2019 e representou o Balonismo de maneira brilhante com maestria.
