Torres hosts one of the main sand competitions. For 17 years the state finals of the SESC summer sport circuit gathers athletes from Beach Basketball, Beach Soccer ( male/ female), handball ( male/ female) , volleyball ( male and female) and Beach Cambio.

The qualifying round happens during the months of december, january and february in more than a hundred cities of Rio Grande do Sul. In total, 2,5 thousand athletes participate on this event.

The circuit is carried out by the Fecomercio- RS/ Sesc, with partnership with the City Hall , focusing promote the well - being of workers in the commere of goods, services and tourism, as well as the community in general.
