Guarita Stone
The Guarita stone gas it´s base formed by Sandstone ( Botucatu sandstone) and its Apex, by basalt. The basltic shedding that caused the formation of the Guarita Stone is the same that formed " Serra Geral ", our Highlands.
Climbing this hill is suspended, once the safety is harmed and for preservation of the formation, wich is at risk of landslides. Local signs warn about this and ratify the restriction.
