The Santinha path stretches along the way connecting the boardwalks of “Prainha” beach and “Praia da Cal”. That is a path which allows you to enjoy the beauty of the rocks and nature located between the sea and the foothill of “Morro do Farol”. The path is illuminated nowadays,  providing more security for tourists and local people.

Along this enjoyable path, there is a pure water fountain and the “Nossa Senhora Aparecida oratory, known as “Santinha”.

The construction was finished in 1974 with funds from the ancient Torres Alfred Hotel, also financing the original small grotto, as a request of the Arts teacher  Dona Erotildes.

This is certainly a place which is part of culture and history in terms of devotion. Several worshippers place offerings to thank for granted  graces.
